Yeah I'm done submitting things until I actually draw something I'm happy with... the more I think about it, the more I realize theres no point showing off something that isn't worth looking at. And if an artist can't bear to look at it, why should he subject anyone else to it? It's not like I've actually got any helpful critique, so I guess must be even worse then I thought if there is too much to give fair critque. I don't want to hear "This looks like shit" unless it is followed by how it can look not like shit... and likewise cute isn't helpful either. I'd rather hear "cute... but your proportions are off, you treat the lines like plot in a jackie chan movie, have you ever looked at hpw shadow actually falls, did you learn anyting about typography since you were 8?, have you ever looked at a torso or do you base your torsos on half eaten dorrito bags. Your legs look wood trunks. You approach shading like it's all or nothing, you guestimate on everything making everything look off. Everything still looks flat, have you ever looked at a rabbit? Have you ever worked with lights to study how it effects the subject?"
Anyway thats enough to work on for right now.... and maybe if I get all that I'll be halfway near something I can honestly be proud of...
